Job summary

Active Consulting Services LLC in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle personal injury and civil litigation matters from intake through settlement or trial. This on-site, full-time role offers ownership of cases and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include 1+ year of civil litigation experience; personal injury or trial experience is preferred; strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills; WV/OH bar admission is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Civil Litigation experience.
• Personal Injury, Plaintiff Litigation, Insurance Defense, or Trial experience preferred.
• Strong experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Excellent legal writing, communication, negotiation, and case management skills.
• WV and/or OH Bar admission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Personal Injury and Civil Litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Develop case strategy, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and communicate directly with clients.
