About the Opportunity

A highly respected trial-focused personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Associate to join its growing team. What You’ll Handle:

The practice includes complex plaintiff-side litigation involving:

• Oil field accidents, Truck and automobile accidents, Premises liability. Aviation and airplane explosion cases, Medical malpractice, Product liability, etc.

You will have hands-on responsibility throughout the litigation process, including:

• Filing and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Attending hearings
• Preparing and interviewing witnesses
• Meeting with and interviewing clients
• Preparing matters for trial
• Participating in trials and other courtroom proceedings

Required:

• Experience filing motions
• Experience attending hearings
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas for hearings, depositions, client meetings, and trials

Strongly preferred:

• Personal injury experience
• Trial experience is a plus
• The firm is open to attorneys coming from either plaintiff or defense backgrounds, as well as qualified solo practitioners.

Compensation & Bonus Potential

• Up to $200,000 base salary
• Significant performance-based bonus opportunity

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 - $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
