Growing PI & Workers Compensation Law firm seeks PI Attorney to handle litigated cases. We are looking for an attorney who has a passion for helping people. The perfect candidate is someone who can hit the ground running to give the clients outstanding representation, as well as take ownership of a client's case.

The perfect candidate must possess a willingness to meet personally with clients, the ability to handle a high caseload, commitment to abiding by the set laws and behaving ethically, excellent personal skills, strong critical thinking skills, adaptability and attention to detail, ability to work on a case independently, ability to work with a team of attorneys, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

1. Research and brief legal issues, write persuasive legal documents, and argue legal cases before state and federal courts.
2. Draft legal documents as necessary.
3. Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and other hearings.
4. Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies related to their cases.
5. Monitor changes in laws and regulations applicable to clients' matters and provide advice and counsel accordingly.
6. Work effectively with others.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Illinois.
• 1-5 years of experience.
• Recent graduates are welcome.

Compensation

$100,000 to $130,000 yearly
