Location: Remote, Chicago-based

Compensation: $110K-$140K

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Asbestos Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, focusing on asbestos-related cases, including mesothelioma and talc litigation. This position involves providing legal support and advocacy for clients suffering from asbestos exposure and related health issues. We are willing to train on asbestos cases if you have a plaintiff personal injury background and are interested in working on these types of cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in asbestos and mesothelioma cases
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court
• Advise clients on their legal rights and options
• Work with medical experts to gather evidence and support cases
• Stay updated on the latest developments in asbestos law and regulations

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in personal injury law, specifically asbestos-related cases
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in IL
• Trial experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of asbestos litigation and related health issues
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
