Duties:

Manage a diverse personal injury litigation docket across various stages

Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests/responses

Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert consultants

Represent clients in mediations, pre-trial proceedings, and jury trials

Engage in strategic planning for each case, including evidence gathering and client interviews

Negotiate settlements with insurance representatives and opposing counsel

Collaborate with internal legal support staff, investigators, and case managers

Oversee select pre-litigation matters as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and detailed case files

Stay informed about relevant changes in personal injury law and civil procedure

Requirements:

Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio

Minimum of 1 year of experience handling personal injury cases in litigation

Demonstrated ability to manage pleadings, motion practice, and courtroom procedures

Experience with either the plaintiff or defense side of personal injury law (2–5 years preferred)

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Strong legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy skills

Comfortable managing case timelines and court deadlines

Education:
