Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to join our team and help senior residents live their best lives. You will build relationships, design LiveFit exercise plans, and document services in accordance with our policies.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, group fitness delivery, and marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership. A bachelor's in a related field plus CPR/AED and national certifications are preferred; 1+ year experience with

• College degree preferred in related field (exercise science, kinesiology, etc.).
• Personal training or group fitness certification from a recognized organization or willingness to attain.
• 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience preferred.
• Experience with senior population desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program.
• Perform and document LiveFit services under supervision of Rehab Director.
• Provide personal fitness through LiveFit program and complete required billing/documentation.
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans to improve health and fitness goals.
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through LiveFit Program.
• Promote LiveFit program to increase membership and engagement.

• Perform and document LiveFit services with residents following company’s policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy’s program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

Position requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
