Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to promote wellness for senior residents.

You will develop StayFit plans, lead group sessions, document billing, and help grow membership while delivering tailored exercise programs. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree preferred, nationally recognized certs (ACSM/ NSCA/ NASM/ ACE/ ISSA), CPR/AED current, and 1+ year experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program.
• Perform and document StayFit services following policies under guidance of Rehabilitation Director.
• Provide personal fitness through StayFit program and complete required billing and documentation.
• Deliver StayFit treatment plans to improve health and fitness goals.
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through LiveWell Program.
• Meet efficiency standards as set by the company.
• Participate in department and facility meetings.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy’s program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the StayFit program to increase membership.

Position requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
