Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer to run the PE@PF group program, assist new members in achieving their fitness goals, and design simple workout plans while instructing proper equipment use.

You will conduct PE@PF sessions, help members with questions, promote class sign-ups, and assist at the front desk, including sign-ups and tours, while maintaining a clean and welcoming club environment.

• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including: Answer phones, check members in, sign up new members, and give tours.
• Respond to member questions professionally and escalate when needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.

• Changing/updating member account information
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completed fitness trainer certification.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
