Planet Fitness is seeking a Trainer to run the PE@PF group fitness program and assist new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing simple workout plans and teaching proper equipment use.

You will conduct and promote PE@PF classes, consult with members on goals, and create bi-weekly exercise updates. The role includes front desk duties and maintaining facility cleanliness, with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and schedule.
• Instruct members on proper and safe equipment use to achieve fitness goals.
• Promote PE@PF class sign-ups with creative approaches.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates with varied routines.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist front desk tasks: greet callers, check members in, sign-ups, tours, update accounts.
• Address member questions promptly and escalate when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the club.

Job Summary

• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system.
• New member sign-up.
• Take potential members on tours.
• Changing/updating member account information
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
• Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
