Services include education and counseling, one-on-one counseling, consultation with a commander or other provider/staff, conducting briefings and presentations, and providing referral resources outside the counseling session context. • Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • Develop and make available informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • Coordinate, publicize and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle (e.g., arrival at first duty station, pre- and post-deployment, and events described in DoDI 1322.34).
  • Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
  • Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure online chat, video-based communications, secure video teleconference) as needed; virtual PFC support may be authorized by the OSD FINRED Program office.
  • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to DoD protocol.
  • Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision (individual and group), sharing trends and issues on assigned installations.
  • Participate in regular in-services/training, quality improvement committees or other contract activities as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned; duties listed are representative and not all-inclusive.
Qualifications
