Job summary

A Loving Place Called Home, Inc. is hiring direct care staff for a group home in Quincy, FL. You would assist residents with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, bathing, and toileting.

Positions include full-time, part-time, and on-call shifts with 12-hour options and weekend cover. The role requires at least 1 year in healthcare, childcare, or elderly care, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to relocate to Quincy, FL.

A Loving Place Called Home, Inc. is looking to hire direct care staff to join our team. The ideal candidate is hard working, responsible, punctual, and works well independently.

This position is at a Behavior Focus Group Home with adults with developmental disabilities. As a direct care staff member, you would be responsible for assisting residents with their daily living skills including cooking, cleaning, bathing, and toileting.

We have both full time and part time positions available at this group home.

Shifts Available:

• Full-time: 12 hour shifts 8AM-8PM and 8PM-8AM every other weekend
• Part-time: Weekends only
• On-call: This person will fill in on an as needed basis to cover scheduled or unscheduled time off.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in day-to-day activities
• Prepare meals
• Administer medications
• Communicate effectively with management

Qualifications:

At least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, children or the elderly.
