Turing is seeking Personal and Consumer Lending professionals to work with researchers to improve AI models for consumer credit underwriting, loan products, and credit risk. You will evaluate LLMs on topics like personal loans, auto finance, credit cards, student loans, and BNPL products, and help shape training methods.

This freelance role is fully remote in the United States, with flexible hours (10-30 hrs/week) and compensation around $100+ per hour depending on experience.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in Personal/Consumer Lending.
• Strong grasp of underwriting criteria, credit scoring, loan pricing, and regulations (TILA, ECOA, FCRA, fair lending).
• Excellent English written communication.

Role Overview

Turing is looking for Personal and Consumer Lending professionals to work with our researchers to improve the performance of AI models. You will apply your expertise in consumer credit underwriting, loan products, credit risk, and collections to evaluate and train AI systems. If you enjoy solving complex problems in consumer lending and are interested in shaping the future of AI in finance, No prior AI experience is required.

What Does Day-to-Day Look Like

• Evaluate LLM models on consumer lending topics such as personal loans, auto finance, credit cards, student loans, and buy-now-pay-later products.
• Create rubrics to assess model capabilities on tasks like credit score and credit report interpretation, affordability assessment, APR and amortization calculations, risk-based pricing, and delinquency and charge-off analysis.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow lending experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Personal/Consumer Lending (e.g., consumer credit underwriter, credit risk analyst, loan officer, collections or loss mitigation specialist, or lending product manager).
• Strong grasp of consumer underwriting criteria, credit scoring models, loan pricing, and consumer protection regulations (e.g., TILA, ECOA, FCRA, fair lending).
• Excellent English written communication.

Bonuses (Not at All Necessary)

• CFA (Level I/II/III), FRM, credit risk certification, or MBA in Finance.
