A & T Systems, Inc. is seeking a Personal Computer Support Technician to provide remote and on-site desktop support for staff at White Sands Missile Range, NM.

This is a Tier II role responsible for timely incident resolution and proactive IT maintenance. The position covers imaging, deploying software including Windows and MS Office 365, moving equipment, printer and mobile device support, VPN troubleshooting, and administrative duties such as ticketing, inventory, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PC and peripheral installation, upgrade, and Level 1 support.
• Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 maintenance and support of computers and peripherals via phone or onsite support.
• Imaging, deploying and troubleshooting Windows and MS Office 365, as well as other software applications.
• Move equipment between locations and perform setup and teardown as needed.
• Troubleshoot printers, multi-function devices and mobile devices (laptops, iPhones).
• Provide extended remote support and troubleshoot VPN issues.
• Administrative duties including documentation, updating computer databases, surveys, creating job status reports, and hand receipts.

Description

Personal Computer Support Technician to fill a position providing remote and touch labor Desktop Support to the staff at White Sands Missile Range, NM. This position is a Tier II level technician and is responsible for assisting in supporting the staff at White Sands Missile Range, NM. Position is a full-time position.

Requirements

• Provide Level 2 maintenance and support of computers and peripherals via phone or onsite support.
• Duties include creating, editing and closing service desk tickets via Remedy; imaging, deploying and troubleshooting Windows as well as MS Office 365, as well as, other software applications.
• Affect moves of equipment from one location to another to include breakdown and setup of the same.
• Provide basic troubleshooting to printers, multi-function devices and mobile devices such as laptops and iPhones.
• Provide extended support to remote users and have to troubleshoot remote access/VPN issues.
• Additional duties include providing customers with information on warranty support and contacts when needed; performs system upgrades to include testing, removing and replacing equipment to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU); maintains an inventory of minor repair parts; disposal of sensitive materials; provides administrative support to include documentation, updating computer databases, providing feedback surveys, creating job status reports, hand receipts.

Qualifications:

• 1 Year of PC and peripheral installation, upgrade, corrective/preventative maintenance support, level 1 phone support.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Formal Computer Training (College or IT Tech Schools)

Language Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate information and have creative direction in one-on-one and small group situation with co-workers, staff (onsite and the corporate) as well as vendors.

Computer Skills:

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive regionally as required.
• Must have a Government Security clearance /Secret Level
• DOD 8570.01-M IAT-II Certification.
