Job summary

Hiverecruiter in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Personal and Commercial Lines Underwriter for an on-site role. Build and grow a book of business and develop agency relationships to drive new business and renewals.

The role requires evaluating, quoting and binding risks while managing coverage, pricing and profitability. Mentoring Assistant and Associate Underwriters is also part of the remit. A license and CPCU/CIC designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Personal or Commercial Lines underwriting or brokerage experience.
• Excess & Surplus (E&S) experience preferred.
• Insurance license and designations such as CPCU or CIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a book of Personal and Commercial Lines business.
• Develop agency relationships and drive new business and renewals through marketing strategies.
