Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions to help individuals remain in their homes.

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager, and notify immediately of incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt during travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Help with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation required.

License Requirements

• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Skill Requirements

• Flexibility to work hours as needed.
• Ability to work independently in diverse home situations.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
