We are hiring certified HHA Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care in client homes in the Apopka, FL area. We have a variety of PRN hours available and offer benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, transfer of patient, and use of bedpan or toilet.
• Assists with household tasks directly related to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

• Six months experience in home care preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

State Specific Requirements

• FL: Successful completion of at least forty hours of training or passing the home health aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007).

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, gender, disability, or financial condition of the client.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
