Job Responsibilities

• Report observations of client conditions to the Agency Director or manager and notify immediately of incidents or accidents
• Drive safely, adhere to traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers
• Help with household tasks essential to the client's personal care

Experience and License Requirements

• Minimum six months of home care experience preferred
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation

State-Specific Requirements for Florida

• Completion of at least 40 hours of training or passing the Home Health Aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007)

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours based on patient needs
• Ability to work independently in diverse home environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and writing skills
