Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager; notify immediately of incidents or accidents
• Drive safely, comply with traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers
• Assist with household tasks essential for the client's personal care

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation

License Requirements

• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation

Skill Requirements

• Flexibility to work hours as needed
• Ability to work independently in diverse home situations
