Professional Home Care Services, Inc. on Milwaukee's South Side is hiring a compassionate Personal Care Worker to support clients in their homes across the Metro area.

The role provides hands-on care, helping with bathing, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, with careful documentation using the EVV system. The schedule runs Mon-Fri 9:00am-12:30pm with every other weekend, offering additional hours if desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Personal Care Worker or similar role.
• Able to speak Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client homes.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Assist clients with basic mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to the client’s dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment.
• Report observations and changes in a client’s condition to the RN Case Manager.
• Accurately document care and observations using the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system.

We’re currently seeking a compassionate and dependable PCW to join our family-oriented team. As a Federally and State Licensed agency, PHCS provides comprehensive support to our clients, and we are seeking a dedicated professional who wants a fulfilling career in senior care. This role is ideal for a caregiver who excels at everyday support, providing comfort, and building trusting relationships with those they serve.

Schedule: M-F (9:00am - 12:30pm), every other weekend Sa-Su (9am - 12:30pm) - there is an option to pick up more clients if you want more hours

• Previous experience in a home health care setting.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client homes in Metro Milwaukee.
• Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and be open to taking direction.
• Must be reliable, on-time, and able to keep a consistent schedule.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors or clients with conditions such as dementia.
• A solid foundation in basic PCW skills and a willingness to learn new care techniques.
