About the role:

We are seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join the team in the Warrnambool area on a Part time basis. The candidates need to be committed to delivering high quality care for our aged care clients both in home and in the community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing services in the client’s house such as general house cleaning, tidying and shopping.
  • Assisting clients in day to day needs to help keep them in their own home instead of seeking alternative options.
  • Liaising with the care team regarding any concerns or feedback the client may have with Baptcare’s service.
  • Maintaining strict privacy and dignity with all information relating to Client care, while promoting the same with any other members of the team or contractors on site.

About you:

  • Based in Warrnambool or nearby suburbs
  • Current valid Level II First Aid certificate.
  • Minimum certificate III in aged care or individual support.
  • Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
  • Current Australian Drivers license and own a registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Medication endorsement and/or hoist experience.
  • Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
