Qualifications

• PCA / PSS Certification or equivalent preferred, however, we provide opportunities to obtain certification.
• Direct care experience preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Provide meal planning, preparation, and feeding as required.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Foster meaningful connections with residents, offering emotional support and companionship.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to contribute to resident care plans and input on needs.
• Monitor safety and wellbeing; promptly report changes in health status.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations.
