Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice in Franklin, OH is seeking a Personal Care Specialist for a part-time day shift. You will work 7am–7:30pm with weekend/holiday rotation, supporting patients and families alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Credentials include a Ohio CNA, with CHPNA preferred. Strong computer skills for EMR documentation and a valid OH driver’s license are required. Mileage reimbursement and tech provided enhance the role, with ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide in Ohio.

Personal Care Specialist – Making every moment matter

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life for patients and supporting families during some of their most important moments. Working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you'll deliver compassionate care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace.

This is a PT Day shift position for our Middletown Hospice House IPU. The hours are 7am-7:30pm with every other weekend/holiday rotation and will also have UC duties in this role as well.

Qualifications of this role:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nurse Aide in the state of Ohio
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide (CHPNA) certification preferred. Ohio's Hospice supports professional growth and offers opportunities for eligible employees to obtain certification.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to accurately document patient care and services in electronic medical records.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a safe driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10 panel drug screening.
