Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice seeks a Personal Care Specialist for full-time days in Dayton, OH. This role focuses on delivering compassionate, respectful, and reliable care to patients and families, with documentation in electronic medical records and driving to patients in facilities and homes within the greater Xenia/Greene County area.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, CNAs preferred, CHPNA certification preferred, and valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse Aide (preferred, but will train internally).
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide (CHPNA) certification preferred. Ohio's Hospice supports professional growth and offers opportunities to obtain certification.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to accurately document patient care and services in electronic medical records.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with a safe driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10 panel drug screening.

Responsibilities

Our Personal Care Specialist provide stellar care for our patients and their families. The Personal Care Specialist ensures clients receive compassionate, respectful, and reliable care that enhances their quality of life while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

This is a FT day shift position and is a driving position seeing patients in both facilities and homes within the greater Xenia/Greene County area
