Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors offers non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes, with flexible hours tailored for students. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude alongside practical caregiving tasks.

You’ll assist with daily living, mobility, safety, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, helping clients maintain independence and dignity while gaining meaningful healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Reliable, compassionate, and responsible.
• Able to complete required home care training before working independently.
• Physically and mentally able to meet job demands.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Report any safety concerns.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation to appointments or community activities.
• Engage in conversation and social interaction.
• Provide emotional encouragement.
• Read, play games, or participate in hobbies together.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting a Safe & Comfortable Home

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment

• Report any safety concerns
