Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors seeks dedicated part-time caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes. This role offers flexible hours, hands-on experience, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in clients' daily lives.

Ideal candidates are reliable, compassionate, and patient, capable of assisting with daily living tasks, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. Training is provided, with no medical duties required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 25 lbs
• Complete required home care training before working independently
• Physically and mentally able to meet job demands
• At least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Report any safety concerns
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise
• Provide medication reminders
• Meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments or community activities
• Engage in conversation and social interaction
• Provide emotional encouragement
• Read or participate in hobbies with clients

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting a Safe & Comfortable Home

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment

• Report any safety concerns

Helping with Daily Living Tasks

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
