Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a part-time Night Shift Charge Nurse for Messiah Home in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will oversee the Neighborhood Care Team, administer medications, and ensure high‑quality, person‑centered care for residents 55+.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure in PA, a compassionate approach, and the ability to mentor CNAs/PCAs while complying with regulatory standards. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
• Active PA LPN or RN license.
• Gerontology or Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess and monitor resident health; communicate changes promptly.
• Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
• Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and team members.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
