Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse for the Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team in Mechanicsburg. This evening, part-time role focuses on leading caregiving teams and providing compassionate, resident-centered care for adults 55+.

You will administer medications, monitor health, and mentor nursing aides while ensuring regulatory compliance. Active PA LPN license is required; RN candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program; RN candidates welcome.
• Unencumbered LPN license in PA.
• Prior gerontology or long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Commitment to HIPAA and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess and monitor resident health; communicate changes promptly.
• Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
• Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and team members.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
