Job summary

One You Love Homecare Valley Forge is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical in-home support to clients, promoting independence and dignity. You will offer companionship, daily living assistance, light housekeeping, and mobility help while observing safety and care plans.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED, state certification where applicable, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving/home care experience is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a negative TB test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
