One You Love Homecare Valley Forge is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide essential non-medical support in clients’ homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. Positions available are part-time and full-time with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities include companionship, activities of daily living, meal prep, safety checks, and light housekeeping. Prior caregiving experience and valid work authorization in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving for surgery recovery or home care is a plus.
• State certification or license in good standing where required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with insurance if transporting clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and work authorization in the United States.
• TB test completed within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Ensure client safety and report changes in condition.
• Follow infection control and care plans.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Remind clients to take medications and document tasks.
• Log hours via clock-in/out system.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

Varies depending on client needs.

Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, overnights available) Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Surgery recovery caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• RELIABLE transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a TB Test within the last year

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
