Job summary

ComForCare in Texas is seeking Personal Care Attendants to support clients in Humble, Kingwood, and Atascocita. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, help with bathing and mobility, and enhance quality of life for seniors in their own homes.

Qualifications

• A passion to serve and help others.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Previous home-care experience is a bonus.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a national background check and drug screening.
• Good match for the client based on personality and availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Monitor health progression and notify relevant parties of changes.
• Aid with personal care such as bathing and grooming.
• Engage in meaningful activities with clients.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Help with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Maintain a clean, tidy living environment for clients.
• Provide respite services for the family.
• Respect clients and help them live with dignity at home.

Compensation: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour.
