At Your Side Walker County is hiring Care Attendants to help clients stay independent in their own homes across Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, and Huffman. Join a team that values compassion, reliability, and quality in-home care.

You’ll receive training, a clear path for growth, and benefits including 15% tuition discount and time-and-a-half for overtime. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 25-50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a national background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Monitor health progression and notify relevant parties of changes.
• Provide personal care such as bathing and grooming.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and mobility support.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and transfer support.
• Offer respite services for families and maintain a respectful home environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Monitoring health progression and notifying relevant parties of any changes.
• Providing assistance with personal care such as bathing and grooming.
• Engaging in meaningful activities with clients.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Helping with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment for clients.
• Providing respite services for the family.
• Allowing people to live with respect and dignity, in their own home.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a national background check and drug screening.
• A good match for the client based on personality and availability.

Compensation: $10.50 – $11.50 per hour
