Job summary

Beloit Health System has Immediate Opportunities for Personal Care Attendants/ CNAs to join NorthPointe Terrace. This role supports residents with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and care planning, with shifts 1st & 2nd (7:30 am–3:30 pm and 2:00 pm–10:30 pm), totaling 24–28 hours per week and benefits eligible.

Qualified candidates hold Illinois CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, CPR within 3 months of hire, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide support with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Monitor and document residents' physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
• Measure and record vital signs according to facility policy.
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using proper safety techniques and equipment.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Promote resident independence while preserving dignity, privacy, and respect.
• Participate in resident care planning and team meetings as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
