Caremate Wellness Solutions is seeking a Personal Care Attendant in Argyle, TX to provide non-medical in-home care following an approved plan of care.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, safety observations, and educating families on safe transfers. Starting pay is $13.02/hour with a flexible schedule and health/wellness options.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of direct caregiving experience required.
• Self-directed and service-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and bedside manner capabilities.
• Patience and compassion for elderly/disabled individuals.
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's or willingness to train.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Provide direct non-medical personal care per plan of care.
• Perform safety and wellness observations each shift and communicate changes.
• Maintain a safe care environment free of hazards and follow safety procedures.
• Educate families on safe transfer and repositioning techniques as needed.
• Complete required training and stay informed on agency updates.

Location: Argyle, TX
Job Purpose:
Caremate Wellness Solutions provides personal and living assistance services to individuals in the comfort of their own home or residence for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring health or minimizing the effects of illness or disability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports clients by assisting with the Activities of Daily Living or ADLs(bathing/dressing/toileting/hygiene/meal prep/assistance with meals/mobilitymonitoring/medication reminders)
• Provide direct personal care of a non-medical nature, following an approved plan of care
• Performs safety &wellness observations each shift. Communicates with the agency about any changes in condition or living environment
• Maintains a safe work and living environment, ensuring the area where care is provided is free from falls, fire, and trip hazards. Adheres to agency safety standards and procedures
• Helps family members or primary caregivers care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to transfer, turn, and reposition if necessary
• Updates job knowledge by participating in agency-required training and education opportunities
• Enhances agency & service reputation by accepting ownership of exploring opportunities to add value to services offered

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented
• Need good interpersonal skills, must be service-oriented, possess good bedside manner
• Must have patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals
• Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, or be willing to participate in training to provide service
• Skilled in verbal and written communication

• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
• Must meet background eligibility requirements
• Must provide 2 Professional References
• Must complete all assigned training by agency deadlines
