Job summary

CAREmAte Wellness Solutions LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical personal care in clients' homes in Argyle, TX. You will assist with ADLs, support daily living activities, and monitor safety per an approved plan of care.

The role requires at least 6 months of caregiving experience, strong communication, and a patient, service-oriented approach. Flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement are offered to reliable staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of direct caregiving experience required.
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a service mindset.
• Patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals.
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's care or willingness to train.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal prep, and mobility support.
• Provide direct non-medical personal care per an approved plan of care.
• Perform safety and wellness checks each shift; report condition changes to the agency.
• Maintain a safe environment; follow safety standards to prevent falls and hazards.
• Help family or primary caregivers with transfers and repositioning techniques.
• Complete required trainings and education opportunities to stay updated.
• Contribute to service quality and explore ways to add value to offerings.

Location: Argyle, TX

Job Purpose:
Caremate Wellness Solutions provides personal and living assistance services to individuals in the comfort of their own home or residence for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring health or minimizing the effects of illness or disability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports clients by assisting with the Activities of Daily Living or ADLs(bathing/dressing/toileting/hygiene/meal prep/assistance with meals/mobilitymonitoring/medication reminders)
• Provide direct personal care of a non-medical nature, following an approved plan of care
• Performs safety &wellness observations each shift. Communicates with the agency about any changes in condition or living environment
• Maintains a safe work and living environment, ensuring the area where care is provided is free from falls, fire, and trip hazards. Adheres to agency safety standards and procedures
• Helps family members or primary caregivers care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to transfer, turn, and reposition if necessary
• Updates job knowledge by participating in agency-required training and education opportunities
• Enhances agency & service reputation by accepting ownership of exploring opportunities to add value to services offered

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented
• Need good interpersonal skills, must be service-oriented, possess good bedside manner
• Must have patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals
• Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, or be willing to participate in training to provide service
• Skilled in verbal and written communication

• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
• Must meet background eligibility requirements
• Must provide 2 Professional References
• Must complete all assigned training by agency deadlines
