Job summary

Wynnfield Crossing, a Sonida Senior Living community in Rochester, IN, seeks a Personal Care Attendant to provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities and resident support.

You will work with a friendly team, assist with meals, mobility, and medications under supervision, while upholding dignity and respect for every resident.

Qualifications

• Assists with daily living activities and care tasks.
• Communicates with residents with empathy and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication, treatments, and care while encouraging independence
• Escorts residents within the building as needed
• Helps with meals and cleanup
• May plan and run resident activities on a schedule

Personal Care Attendant Responsibilities Include

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
