Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Home Care

Eminence Home Care of Maryland is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. As a PCA, you will provide essential support and care to patients in their homes or healthcare facilities, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and support to live independently.

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience) plus mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning

Qualifications:

• Preferably prior experience as a Personal Care Aide or similar role
• Compassionate and caring attitude
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Reliability and punctuality
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proof of up-to-date immunizations and negative TB test
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills with health professionals
