Pay Range:

$17.28 - $22.00 / per hour

Job Description:

The Companion Caregiver provides services to patients/clients in their residences, including "hands-off" care, depending on state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide "hands-off" care such as socialization, mild exercise encouragement, medication reminders, supervision during bathing, toileting, dressing, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping.
2. Arrive punctually and complete scheduled shifts.
3. Perform all duties accurately and timely.
4. Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
5. Follow infection control procedures, including universal precautions.
6. Report abnormal findings to the office.
7. Adhere to company standards and procedures.
8. Represent the company positively.
9. Show flexibility and adaptability to facility needs.
10. Communicate effectively with office staff.
11. Follow time and attendance policies.
12. Provide required documentation timely (e.g., PPD, in-services).
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Available Shifts:

• Overnights: 11pm-7am, 10pm-6am
• Middays: 3pm-11pm and in between
• Weekends: overnights and mid days
• Mornings: starting at 7am

Requirements:

• Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Provider
• Adherence to time and attendance policies
• Professional conduct and boundary adherence
• Compassionate with strong interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills; proficiency in English may be required
• Computer proficiency
