Job summary

Stand Out Home Care in Sun City, AZ is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide in-home support to clients who need assistance with daily activities. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, while helping with meals, transportation and social engagement.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Pass a background check
• Compassionate, patient, empathetic, and dependable

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving and transferring
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures
• Strong observation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.

• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a safe living environment.

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.

• Provide transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other errands.

• Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, mood, or condition.

• Follow established care plans and maintain accurate communication with families and care team members.

• Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
