Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide support with personal care, mobility, and therapeutic needs under supervision of a licensed professional. Opportunities may arise in medical facilities, rehabilitation centers, or in-home settings across Virginia.

Qualifications include state licensure if required, at least 18, CPR if applicable, and a minimum of one year of related care experience.

• One year relevant patient/client care experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

A Personal Care Assistant is an individual who providessupport services to assist clients with personal, physical mobility andtherapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner,social worker or other health care professional. The Personal Care Assistantmay work in a variety of settings, to include medical facilities,rehabilitation centers or in-home residential care.
