Smoky Ridge Health and Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide hands‑on care alongside a certified nursing aide and support to our residents. The PCA plays a vital role in helping residents with daily needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence in a long‑term care setting. REQUIREMENT: Must currently be active in a C.N.A. class with check offs completed or have completed the C.N.A. class and awaiting to take written/skills portion of testing for obtaining certificate to be considered for a PCA position
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Provide assistance with eating meals as needed
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
Follow infection control, safety, and facility procedures
Document services provided electronically with Point Click Care.
Participate in training, meetings, and in‑service programs as required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
