Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Hilton Head is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential daily care and companionship in clients' homes on Hilton Head Island. You will assist with ADLs, meal planning, light housekeeping, mobility support, and monitoring health changes.

Qualifications

• Experience as PCA/CNA/HHA or caregiver preferred.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment
• Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently in a home setting
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
