Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Montgomery County, PA seeks a Full-Time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for 7A-3P shifts. You will support residents with daily living activities in a senior living community, delivering compassionate care and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, meals, dressing; reporting changes to staff; assisting with dining; and managing medication reminders while ensuring timely, accurate care.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Basic English language proficiency required to ensure resident safety.
• Ability to read, write, and document observations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Inform supervisor of changes in residents' conditions and document observations thoroughly.
• Follow procedures for medication reminders to ensure correct day and time.
• Answer emergency call lights and respond appropriately.
• Perform dining room duties and assist with dining needs of residents.
