Job summary

Careon Home Care LLC in South Carolina is seeking caregivers to support clients with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders and companionship. You will promote safety, assist with meals and light housekeeping, and coordinate with families and supervisors to adapt care plans.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; onboarding and background checks are provided. Shifts include full-time, part-time, or per-diem across mornings, days and evenings, with

Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Care Aide or similar role preferred.
• Compassionate and caring attitude.

• Ability to think and work independently with guidance from a supervisor.
• Ability to document PCA activities and observations.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, positioning/repositioning, walking and transferring.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Promote and facilitate a safe environment by removing barriers to safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, cleaning and changing bed linens.
• Accompany to medical appointments when requested.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, upon request.
• Report observations, care activities, condition, progress and problems to supervisor.
• Build relationships by conversing or reading aloud to help keep client mentally healthy and alert.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Engage clients in exercises or activities as per plan of care.
• Develop and maintain supportive relationship with client’s family and care team.

Shifts Available: Full-time, Part-time, Per-diem. Mornings, Days and Evening shifts are available in South Carolina.

Compensation: $12-$14 per hour

Requirements:

• Must live in South Carolina.
• Ability to pass a drug screening test.
• Ability to pass a SLED background check.
• Complete onboarding training.
