Careon Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCA)/Home Care Aides to assist clients in their homes in South Carolina. Responsibilities include ADLs, mobility support, companionship, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments.

We welcome applicants with prior PCA experience, a compassionate approach, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must live in South Carolina.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Ability to pass a SLED background check.
• Complete onboarding training.
• Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide or similar role preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Promote a safe home environment by removing safety barriers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments when requested.
• Document PCA activities and observations for supervisor.
• Engage clients in exercises or activities as per care plan.
• Develop relationships with family and care team.
