Job summary

MAHONE IN HOME HEALTHCARE LLC is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our home health team. You will work with the case manager, following each client’s service plan to deliver essential personal care, assistance, support and supervision in the client’s home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of documented caregiver/home care experience.
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; effective communication.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work with the case manager and follow the client’s service plan to meet care goals.
• Provide personal care, assistance, support and supervision to clients.
• Coordinate and communicate to ensure quality in home care.
• Adapt to varying care needs based on client mobility.
