Addus HomeCare is hiring Home Care Aides to support families in Metro Detroit and Downriver. Open and virtual interviews are available at our Detroit office located in the Fisher Building.

If you are caring, reliable and looking for meaningful work, this is a great fit. As a Home Care Aide you will assist with personal care, light housekeeping and companionship, with flexible scheduling and mileage or travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a clean criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation: either by car or public transportation.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) will be required at the time of application.
• Must successfully complete pre-service Home Care Aide training.
• Must be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Provide and/or assist with light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, meal preparation, vacuuming, bed making.
• Companionship.
