Personal Care Worker

Incentives: $2500 Sign-on Bonus AND 1st Day Benefits

Our facility ministers exclusively to the elderly through a coordinated care model which provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services designed to assist older individuals to live as independently as possible while continuing to live within their community.

This position qualifies for a $2500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. The bonus is paid in three installments over the two-year period.

This position will be primarily based at the LIFE Kinder Park facility, with occasional home care work as required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living such as toileting, bathing, eating, and grooming to promote independence
• Support physical activity, exercise, and mobility for participants
• Provide behavioral supervision and emotional reassurance, including reminders for medication and diet adherence
• Engage in general activities like conversation, recreation, meal service, and housekeeping

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment
• At least one year of experience working with elderly or frail populations (preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused with the ability to adapt and exercise independent judgment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic email and calendar management
• Ability to travel locally up to 10% using personal vehicle
• Physical ability to kneel, crouch, reach, lift (minimum 20 pounds), sit, walk, and bend as required
