Job summary

The Good Care Helpers in Texas is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support clients with daily personal care, mobility, companionship, meals, and light housekeeping. You will monitor health changes and report to the supervising staff, ensuring compassionate, individualized care.

Ideal candidates have caregiver experience and CPR certification, a strong bedside manner, and excellent communication and time management.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience is preferred
• CPR (American Heart Association) certification is required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support mobility and transfers, including repositioning
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Plan and prepare meals, mindful of dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Monitor health changes and report to supervising staff

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

• Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and repositioning
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal planning and preparation
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
• Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
