Job summary

Caring Senior Service in Hartford, CT is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide personal and memory care for seniors in their homes. This in-person role offers pay of $17.00–$18.00 per hour with both full-time and part-time schedules.

You will assist with daily activities, support memory care clients, help with mobility and transfers, accompany medical appointments, and maintain accurate care notes in an electronic record system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care, assisted living, senior care, or long-term care.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine heart for service.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, and meals.
• Provide compassionate support to individuals with dementia and memory care needs.
• Help clients with safe transfers and mobility, including the use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Accompany and transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and local outings.
• Maintain accurate and timely health and care documentation using an electronic record system.
• Build trusting relationships with clients while providing respectful, individualized care.
