Job summary

Oxford Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for clients in the Hartford area. Role involves activities of daily living, companionship, and ensuring client well-being in a safe environment.

Ideal candidates have dementia/memory care experience, excellent communication skills, and a reliable, empathetic approach. Requires 18+ years old, US work authorization, valid driver’s license, and background checks; paid weekly with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license, registered & insured vehicle.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home care, senior care, or community care.
• Experience with dementia/memory loss care preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene).
• Meal preparation and assistance with soft diets.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transportation to appointments and errands.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Ensuring a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Competitive weekly pay: $16.94 - $18.00 per hour.
